Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with Model N/Validata/EDI/Helix for managed care/Medicaid contract administration.
  • 2+ years interpreting Master Agreements/Rebate Agreements.

  • Create/maintain SOP policies and payment-package standards.
  • Support contract designing, development, negotiation, and execution.
  • Partner with DTE to build rebate dashboards/analytical models and optimize analytics.
  • Manage contract compliance: interpret medical policies, formularies, prior authorizations, and reimbursements.
  • Analyze complex data and perform financial analytics to validate rebates.

Job description

Remote/Hybrid option (based in Boston, MA; 3 days onsite, 2 days remote weekly).

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end commercial contract administration: Model N/Revitas setup, rebate eligibility, duplicate discount validation, and dispute/customer payment administration for traditional and value-based commercial payer rebates.
  • Create/maintain SOP policies and payment-package standards.
  • Support commercial contracting strategy design, contract development, negotiation, and execution.
  • Partner with DTE to build rebate dashboards/analytical models; optimize analytics or create manual spreadsheets for accurate financial analysis, validation, payments, and translation into Government Price Reporting systems.
  • Manage contract compliance (plan/policy verification; interpret medical policies, formularies, prior authorizations, benefit plans, reimbursements/pathways for Vertex products and competitors).
  • Analyze complex unit- and customer-level data; perform financial analytics to validate rebate calculations.
  • Resolve customer disputes within contractual timeframes; provide customer-centric communications and ensure eligibility compliance.
  • Maintain contract administration documentation for audit; stay current on federal regulations impacting rebate/chargeback.
  • Provide monthly/quarterly reporting and forecasting support; support cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., pricing/programs, legal, payer accounts, revenue accounting, accounts payable, internal audit) and SOX controls/audits.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative/technological discipline.
  • 4–6 years US pharma-adjacent experience in contract operations/management, financial analysis, rebate processing, and payer/GPO/IDN/Medicaid or US Government payments.
  • 2+ years experience with Model N/Validata/EDI/Helix (or similar) for managed care/Medicaid/US Government contract administration.
  • 2+ years experience interpreting Master Agreements/Rebate Agreements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, communication, and deadline-driven execution skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word.
