Starting salary is $50,000 per year, with benefits, paid time off, and holidays. The position allows up to 25% travel across Philadelphia area, Delaware County, Reading, or Pittsburgh PA.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Notary Public certificate required; assistance in obtaining provided.
• Court Reporting Certification encouraged; assistance provided.
• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and meet deadlines.
• Hybrid work schedule with remote and in-person work.

Responsibilities

• Keeper of the record for depositions and hearings.
• Administer oath to witnesses before proceedings.
• Edit realtime transcription using Maggie software.
• Intervene to protect the official record during crosstalk.
• Gather and preserve information for final transcript.
• Manage transcript delivery timelines and client communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality.
• Finalize and certify accuracy of transcripts.
