Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s is preferred.
• Notary Public certificate is required; assistance in obtaining is provided.
• Court Reporting Certification is encouraged; assistance in obtaining it is provided.
• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Keep official written record of legal proceedings.
• Administer the oath to a witness prior to proceedings.
• Monitor and edit realtime transcription using proprietary software.
• Ensure accurate and verbatim written record.
• Gather and preserve information for final written record.
• Manage transcript delivery timelines and client communication.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet quality standards.
• Certify the final transcript as true and accurate.
