Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Real Estate Transactional Legal Assistant for our Miami office, initially remote with a hybrid plan by year end. You will support attorneys in handling complex real estate transactions, including coordinating closings, due diligence, and title materials, in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least seven years of legal assistant experience in a law firm, strong document preparation skills, and proficiency with legal tech tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of legal assistant experience in a law firm with real estate/transactional focus.
• Experience preparing and coordinating closings, due diligence, and title/survey reviews.
• Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Strong communication and client service skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with title company portals and real estate closing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, redline, and proofread real estate documents and closing materials.
• Coordinate closings, title and survey review, and due diligence materials.
• Manage calendars, deadlines, and workflow for multiple transactions.
• Serve as primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, and vendors.
• Assist with billing, time entry, and matter administration.
• Maintain organized files per firm standards.
