Job summary

National Law Firm in Miami is seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant to join a fast-paced, cutting-edge office and support attorneys across real estate matters, including transactions, closings, and due diligence.

You will prepare and proofread a wide range of documents, maintain closing checklists and matter files, coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and opposing counsel, and ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years of legal assistant support experience within a law firm.
• Experience preparing, revising, redlining, proofreading, and managing complex real estate documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, format, redline, and proofread a wide range of real estate and transactional documents.
• Maintain closing checklists, signature packets, closing binders, document indexes, and other transaction components.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, title companies, surveyors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, brokers, consultants, and authorities regarding transactions.
• Monitor transaction deadlines and ensure timely completion; coordinate with accounting to request closing invoices.
• Serve as a professional point of coordination for attorneys, clients, and stakeholders.
• Manage attorney calendars and workflow to prioritize assignments and ensure timely completion.
• Enter, review, and release attorney time entries; assist with billing and matter documentation.
