Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff is seeking an experienced Real Estate Transactional Legal Assistant in our Miami office. The role starts remote and moves to a hybrid schedule by year-end, supporting a fast-paced real estate practice.

The ideal candidate has seven or more years of legal assistant experience, with strong document preparation, due diligence, and closings support. Proficiency in real estate terminology and legal tech systems is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum seven years of legal assistant support experience in a law firm.
• Experience drafting, redlining, and managing complex real estate documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, format, redline, and proofread real estate documents and closing packets.
• Coordinate closings, due diligence, title, and survey materials.
• Monitor deadlines and collaborate with attorneys, title companies, and lenders.
• Manage calendars, travel, and expense processes for attorneys.
• Support billing, timekeeping, and matter administration.
