Job summary

CBRE is seeking a seasoned Project Manager for its real estate project portfolio in the United States. The role focuses on building management deployment and requires managing projects from initiation through completion, including scope, milestones, budget, and risk mitigation.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience and may hold LEED AP, PMP, or CCM designations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Sophisticated math skills; ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial calculations.
• Construction Management, building management systems and HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including scope of work, resource requirements, work plan, milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
• Define the project delivery resources from internal teams.
• Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
• Ensure project data integrity and timely, coordinated documentation.
• Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
• Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule; track progress and report status and variances.
• Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and build consensus to reach agreements.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and related teams.
• Work within broad guidelines and policies; explain difficult or sensitive information.
