Job summary

IMA Financial Group is seeking an Account Specialist to join the HPIEx Real Estate Program. This role supports day-to-day servicing of middle and large market accounts, working closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to deliver exceptional client service.

Remote work is allowed. Key duties include assisting with complex client accounts, processing certificates of insurance, endorsements, billing and policy changes, and using EPIC and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of applicable insurance experience preferred.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Understanding of Property, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess Liability, Workers' Compensation.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Limited travel may be required (<10%).

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers and Account Executives on large and complex client accounts.
• Backup the Account Manager as needed to avoid service gaps.
• Identify issues, propose solutions, and assist in resolving client concerns.
• Use EPIC to maintain account information and process certificates of insurance.
• Coordinate with Real Estate Accounting, calculate surplus lines taxes and fees.
• Process endorsements, billing transactions, and policy changes; review cancellations.
• Interact with clients regarding program needs and service requests.
• Deliver on account-specific service expectations and participate in special projects.
