Job summary

Colliers International in the United States seeks a Manager of Financial Analytics to lead complex real estate transaction modeling across multi-market occupier and brokerage client engagements. The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership in developing financial resources across markets.

The position starts as an individual contributor, with goal of overseeing a team within 12–24 months, and requires strong Excel and cash/GAAP analysis capabilities for site selection and portfolio

Qualifications

• 8+ years of real estate transaction modeling in a complex environment.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Experience working closely with tenant representation brokerage teams needed.
• Prior experience managing, mentoring, or developing financial professionals preferred.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including development of sophisticated and dynamic financial models.
• Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, lease analysis, occupancy cost analyses, and real estate financial structures.
• Experience with cash versus GAAP accounting analyses.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to operate effectively as a player-coach, balancing individual contribution with team leadership.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with executive-level communication capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-market financial models for leasing decisions.
• Design and develop customized financial models aligned with client KPIs and reporting.
• Translate client objectives into scalable analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with leadership and transaction teams to implement financial frameworks.
• Develop and govern financial modeling tools and frameworks.
• Support site selection, lease renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, capital investments.
• Deliver actionable insights to occupancy strategy and portfolio optimization.
