Job summary

CohnReznick is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Real Estate Client Accounting Advisory team. The role focuses on delivering accounting, advisory, and technology services to clients, with a strong emphasis on leadership, training, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive Real Estate accounting experience, GAAP proficiency, and a track record of building relationships and driving revenue growth within a global firm environment.

Qualifications

• BA required. MBA and/or CPA license a plus.
• Experience leading business development and sales initiatives.
• Proven ability to drive and lead corporate accounting processes (cash mgmt, AR/AP, month-end close, payroll).
• Experience with CAM reconciliations, tenant billbacks, and tenant ledgers.
• Strong GAAP experience and hands-on controllership functions (consolidations, GL close, financial reporting).
• Strong Real Estate experience and client service orientation.
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Real Estate accounting team; ensure timely delivery of client work.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting services for clients and cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead global team, mentor staff, and develop client relationships and opportunities.
• Drive business development initiatives to grow the Real Estate CAS practice.
• Manage monthly financials, client billings, and accounts receivable processes.
