Job summary

Career Certified is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our FP&A team, focusing on querying the data lake, turning data into clean, trustworthy reports and dashboards, and delivering actionable insights that help leaders across the organization make better decisions.

This is a remote, full-time role built for someone early in their analytics career, with opportunities to grow into broader analytics or finance paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a data, analytics, BI, or FP&A support role; internships or academic projects count.

Responsibilities

• Query data from our data lake using SQL and AI-assisted tooling to answer business questions and produce inputs for recurring reporting.
• Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards, KPI trackers, and operational metrics in the BI platform.
• Develop Excel-based models and translate ad-hoc analysis into scalable reporting.
• Embed AI into reporting processes using tools to automate data preparation and enhance outputs.
• Own data integrity across reporting; reconcile figures to source systems and resolve discrepancies.
