Job summary

Career Certified is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst for our remote FP&A team. You will query data from our data lake, create clean reports, and deliver insights to leaders across the organization. The role emphasizes accuracy, scalability, and the use of AI-assisted tooling to accelerate analysis.

You will collaborate with FP&A, Data Engineering, and business leaders to standardize datasets, maintain dashboards, and drive data-driven decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in a data, analytics, BI, or FP&A support role; strong internships or academic projects count.
• Experience building and maintaining reports and dashboards; SQL proficiency; data integrity mindset.

Responsibilities

• Query data from a data lake using SQL and AI-assisted tooling to answer business questions and feed recurring reporting.
• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, KPI trackers, and finance views in a BI platform.
• Embed AI into reporting to automate data prep and accelerate analysis.
• Own data integrity, reconcile figures to source systems, and surface discrepancies proactively.
• Deliver insights, translate stakeholder questions into analyses, and present actionable results.
• Document data definitions, report logic, and processes for consistency and transparency.
• Help build scalable reporting infrastructure and extend the unified data layer.
• Partner with leaders to understand reporting needs and turn them into dashboards.
