Job summary

Michigan State University Advancement seeks a collaborative Talent Pipeline Training Program Manager to lead the Advance-U Internship Program and related initiatives. The role plans, coordinates, implements, and improves talent pipeline programs to develop future fundraising professionals.

You will partner with university leadership to create meaningful learning experiences, track progress, and evaluate outcomes, ensuring onboarding and retention of emerging fundraising talent.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent with related instructional program development experience.
• 3–5 years designing, developing, and presenting instructional programs.
• Experience using data and metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement, and improve talent pipeline programs and onboarding.
• Partner with university leaders to identify learning opportunities in fundraising and development.
• Develop metrics and timelines to gauge readiness for higher roles within 12–18 months.
• Support recruitment, budgeting, reporting, and special events for the programs.
