Located at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, the Sanger Leadership Center serves as an important bridge between student learners and thought leaders in both research and practice. The Center runs 120+ leadership development sessions and has over 14,500 student interactions annually. Its mission is to accelerate leader development through bold ideas, transformative experiences, and inclusive communities.
The Sanger Leadership Center Program Specialist provides functional coordination over work assignments for a specific content area of expertise. Reporting to the Director of Programming, you will coordinate one or more programs within the unit's scope of responsibility and coordinate all aspects of a project or program. This will include working as project lead on several of Sanger's signature initiatives, which include Collaboration Lab, Crisis Challenge, Story Lab, Legacy Lab, Michigan Ross Leader Endorsement, and the Ross Leaders Academy.
This hybrid position is based in Ann Arbor, MI, with an expectation of three days per week on-site. The role may require occasional domestic travel and work outside standard business hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain that authorization throughout employment.

Salary Information:
The salary offer range for this position is $53,500 to $66,100. Salary offers are determined based on several factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, along with internal equity considerations. It is not common for new hires to be placed at the top of the range.
This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the University Staff United (USU), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
