Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, share clinical knowledge of Amgen products, and navigate the complex payer landscape. This role requires frequent territory travel within Yonkers, Bronx, New Rochelle and nearby areas, with no relocation offered.

The successful candidate will drive branded messages, manage accounts, and collaborate with district leadership to achieve sales targets while upholding Amgen\'s values

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s Degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of sales experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor\'s Degree with 3 years of sales experience.
• Senior: Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience.
• Senior: High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• The Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative acts as the primary customer contact and is responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen\'s products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts which may include: customizing discussions and customer interactions based on understanding of customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triage reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and territory analysis, and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
