Job summary
FMX, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support Account Executives during the sales process with technical demos and problem-spotting that adds value to the product. You will liaise between product and sales, help craft innovative solutions, and participate in cross-functional standups.
You'll travel 10-20% for on-site demonstrations, develop trusted client relationships, and contribute to quarterly strategy sessions while translating customer needs into product
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a Solutions Engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of or direct experience in software development.
- Practical experience with building or industrial automation systems.
- Proven ability to integrate various software packages effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers and prospects.
- Support account executives with technical demos and unique workflows or integrations.
- Partner with sales to plan and execute presentations for enterprise deals.
- Participate in on-site demonstrations for enterprise accounts (10–20% travel).
- Communicate client needs to the product team for future enhancements.
