Centessa Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager (contract to hire) to lead mid-to-late stage CNS trials from start-up to close-out. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee CROs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on trial execution, risk mitigation, and contributing to TMF readiness and study documentation for regulatory interactions. Remote role based in the US with potential permanent conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field.
• 5+ years of clinical trial management in an industry sponsor.
• Experience in CNS therapeutic development preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICH, GCP, and global regulatory requirements.
• PMP or related training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mid-to late-stage CNS trials from start-up through close-out.
• Lead day-to-day trial operations with cross-functional partners.
• Oversee CROs and external vendors, monitor scope, timelines, budget, and quality.
• Drive milestones: site activation, enrollment, data cleaning, database lock.
• Review and approve CRO/vendor plans and study documentation.
• Monitor progress with dashboards, timelines, and financial tracking.
• Identify and manage operational risks with practical mitigations.
• Ensure TMF setup, maintenance and close-out readiness.
• Support study documentation for Health Authority interactions and process improvements.
