Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services is seeking a Right of Way Agent/Land Acquisition Agent to support energy, infrastructure, and real estate initiatives in the Lake States region. You will engage landowners, negotiate leases and easements, and guide projects from early outreach through permitting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Preferred - 2 plus years of experience in Right-of-Way acquisition, real estate sales, negotiating leases, renewable development, or equivalent related experiences.
• Previous Right-of-Way or real estate project experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail is a must

Responsibilities

• Establishing trust and building the foundation for a long-term positive relationship between the client and landowner.
• Negotiating and securing fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits and ordinances.
• Coordinating meetings with landowners and project stakeholders on site or at mutually agreeable locations.
• Explaining project scope, timelines, processes, contracts, financial agreements, and any other pertinent data to the landowner.
• Providing regular status reports to the project managers on land acquisition and permitting tasks assigned.
