Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services is seeking a Right of Way Agent in Wisconsin to support right‑of‑way acquisition, land leasing, and permitting for oil & gas, wind, solar, and transmission projects. The role involves working across energy infrastructure projects, engaging landowners, and coordinating with project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in title review, landowner negotiations, and permitting, with knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in reviewing title work, landowner acquisition, permitting, and related real estate tasks.
• Ideal candidates understand local, state, and federal requirements for voluntary and eminent domain acquisitions and permitting; experience with energy projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support right-of-way acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction support for oil and gas, wind, solar, and transmission projects.
• Establish and maintain trust with landowners and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings with landowners and stakeholders on-site or at convenient locations.
• Negotiate and secure fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits, and ordinances.
• Prepare and review project documents and permitting forms as needed.
• Represent the company at public meetings with governmental agencies.
