Job summary

Steigerwaldt Land Services seeks a Right of Way Agent/Land Acquisition Agent to support energy, infrastructure, and real estate projects across Wisconsin and beyond. The role emphasizes negotiation with landowners, securing easements, preparing permits, and coordinating with project stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have experience in ROW or real estate projects, strong communication, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in Right-of-Way acquisition, land negotiation, or related real estate duties.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; field work may be required.
• Licensed Wisconsin & Minnesota Real Estate Agent or willingness to obtain license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Establish trust and build long-term relationships with landowners and clients.
• Negotiate and secure fee titles, easements, leases, licenses, permits and ordinances.
• Coordinate meetings with landowners and project stakeholders on-site or off-site.
• Prepare and review land acquisition documents and permitting forms.
• Represent the company at public meetings with government agencies.
• Travel up to 50% for field work and project sites.
