Job summary

PRA Business Events seeks a Regional Event Sales Manager based in Austin, San Antonio, or Houston. The role allows work-from-home but requires regular in-person client meetings, events, and site inspections to be attended.

You will develop new accounts, expand existing relationships, and lead proposals with Experience Designers to win business while hitting annual sales goals. Expect travel to client sites and events; coordinate budgets, deposits, and contracts, and collaborate with the Global

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in DMC, incentive travel, event management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Tourism, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, or related degree preferred.
• Knowledge of client development including new business development, lead follow up, qualifying the client, proposal presentation and closing business.
• Must be able to interpret, define and document complex program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by developing relationships with new accounts and growing existing ones while ensuring client experiences and profitability.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts and cultivate a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Qualify leads and develop program strategies to win business and achieve annual sales goals.
• Collaborate with Experience Designers and Creative Team on proposals and presentations to meet client goals and budget.
