Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation in North Carolina or South Carolina is seeking an entry-level Accounts Payable Analyst to support the vendor master and P2P processes. You will work with SAP Ariba, Maximo, PeopleSoft, and CAPS to ensure accurate transactions across ERP systems.

You will respond to supplier inquiries, maintain payment files, support 1099 reporting, and assist with audits. Remote work is possible within a reasonable commute to Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, supply chain or related field.
• 1 year related work experience.
• In lieu of a degree and experience, 5 years related work experience with High School/GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor master file updates and data integrity.
• Support 1099 reporting processes and inquiries.
• Respond to supplier and internal customer inquiries.
• Resolve issues and fulfill research requests.
• Maintain and validate payment files and credit card payment data.
• Support expense management processes.
• Assist with audit requests and rate case documentation.
• Perform data research and analysis to support root-cause investigations and process improvements.
