Job summary

Leidos in the Eastern PA region seeks Distribution Engineers & Designers to design electric utility projects, coordinate with clients, and ensure high-quality deliverables across NESC, GIS, and field data collection. The role blends office work with occasional site visits in Pennsylvania.

Candidates should have 2+ years of experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and the ability to travel locally; compensation aligns with the pay range, with opportunities for professional growth and PE/PMP

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred); additional relevant experience/certifications may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• Experience with NESC and coordination of design activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and related systems.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Coordinate field data collection and client design standards.
• Support continuous improvement of workflow processes for quality deliverables.
