Leidos in Eastern, PA is seeking Distribution Engineers & Designers passionate about electric utility design engineering. You will design for OH, UG, URD, Make Ready, and coordinate with GIS and client design standards, traveling as needed.

You bring 2+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Industrial, and familiarity with NESC. The role combines field and office work with growth opportunities and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant utility design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree as specified; other related experience may count.
• Experience with NESC and coordinating field engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for electric utility customers.
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and systems like EFD, AUD, Smallworld, and ArcGIS.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned work.
• Perform functional tasks, planning, and client follow-up.
• Coordinate conflicting utilities and large design packages in dense urban environments.
• Occasionally visit customer sites for data collection to support work packages.
