Job summary

Leidos is seeking Distribution Engineers & Designers in the Eastern, PA region who are passionate about electric utility design engineering. You’ll work closely with clients to ensure high-quality deliverables and coordinate with GIS and asset systems to develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready.

This role requires 2+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial engineering, and the ability to travel for local or regional assignments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior relevant experience is required.
• Experience with NESC and electrical distribution design.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and perform schedule/budget management.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform design engineering for Leidos electric utility customers
• Develop work packages for OH, UG, URD, and Make Ready using GIS and systems such as EFD, AUD, Smallworld, ArcGIS, Infor, EAM, STORMS and Maximo
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of work assigned
• Coordinate with clients and field teams to gather data and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Support continuous improvement to workflows and design processes

Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial)
