Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 2 to establish and enforce child support obligations, manage a caseload, and communicate with clients to ensure compliance. Located in Dallas, GA, the role contributes to public service by supporting non-custodial parents and promoting family self-sufficiency within Georgia's state government.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of direct job-related experience.
One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 1 (SST060) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

Establishes child support obligations and ensures that such obligations are met.
Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence and direct contact to ensure that support obligations are met.
Manages a caseload to ensure that child support obligations are met.
Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
