Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Child Support Services Agent 1 for our Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) located in Douglasville, GA. Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a High school diploma or GED plus one year of direct job-related experience.
Associate's degree preferred as an alternative pathway to entry-level public service work.

Responsibilities

Registers child support applications and validates locations.
Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
Establishes and enforces child support obligations.
Communicates with clients by telephone, email and direct contact to ensure obligations are met.
Manages a caseload to meet the Same Day Service Standard of Operating Procedure.
