Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver virtual care for perimenopause and menopause transitions. You will set your own schedule while collaborating with a multi-specialty team to provide cohesive, evidence-based nutrition therapy remotely to patients across the US.

You will conduct video visits, document thoroughly, and maintain high standards of privacy and compliance. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and competitive per-visit compensation.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) by the CDR with a US state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty team to ensure holistic care plans.
• Partner with patients over multi-week programs to support sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focused on metabolic health, bone and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold privacy and compliance standards for all Pomelo visits.
