Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct video visits, collaborate with medical providers and therapists, and guide patients through multi-week programs emphasizing evidence-based nutrition and holistic well-being.

As a 1099 independent contractor, you control your schedule with flexible days and times, while Pomelo handles scheduling, credentialing, and billing.

Qualifications

• National RD/RDN certification and state license required.
• Minimum 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Commitment to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort with telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure cohesive care plans.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program format for lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health and bone health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold privacy and compliance standards for visits conducted via Pomelo.
