Job summary

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in medical billing and strong communication skills. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multiple practices and maintaining patient confidentiality in adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical billing or patient collections.
• Experience in an Optometry/Ophthalmology practice preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient accounts aging reports for overdue balances.
• Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and payment options.
• Ensure timely posting of patient payments.
