Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management Director to lead patient AR and insurance-related RCM operations. You will oversee internal staff and a vendor partner, driving cash flow, reducing denials, and improving the patient financial journey.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong analytics, and a track record of delivering measurable financial outcomes in a multi-state environment. This is a remote, nationwide position with opportunities for leadership impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive RCM leadership experience.
• Experience managing outsourced RCM vendors or BPO partners.
• Strong understanding of payer policies and multi-state billing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient AR and credit balance workflows to improve collections and reduce aging.
• Oversee transition of eligibility and billing call workflows to RCM with SOPs and training materials.
• Analyze denial and payer trends; implement corrective actions and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Develop training, SOPs, and communication materials to support process changes.
• Build and monitor KPIs for AR, denials, write-offs, and payer performance; drive process improvements.
