Job summary

SimpliFed seeks a Director of Revenue Cycle Management to own the end-to-end revenue cycle and build it properly amid a major modernization. You will lead the Healthie implementation, configure payer rules, and establish a single source of truth for payer data, contracts, and provider information.

In this remote-first role, you’ll manage a small RCM team, optimize denials and AR days, and drive forecasting and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare revenue cycle with leadership exp.
• Deep billing experience for physicians/practitioners, not only facilities.
• Hands-on ownership of a modern billing platform and rules configuration.
• Experience migrating or implementing an EHR on the revenue cycle side.
• Fluency with CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10, modifiers, and payer requirements.
• Track record of reducing denials and AR days with data-driven actions.
• Experience managing commercial payer escalations and underpayments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue cycle including eligibility, charge capture, submission, denials, AR follow-up, and cash posting.
• Lead Healthie EHR transition and ensure clean data flow into billing.
• Build and monitor KPIs, cash forecast, AR aging, denial trends, and service-line yield.
• Manage payer relationships and escalate issues when needed.
• Lead, support, and grow a small RCM team and set priorities.
