Job summary

Wow Remote Teams is seeking a RCM - Psychiatric Billing Specialist to manage end-to-end billing operations within a behavioral health practice, including telepsychiatry services across clinics.

You will oversee patient and insurance revenue cycle processes, ensure accurate claims, communicate financial responsibilities, and resolve denials proactively in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of psychiatric or mental health billing across full-cycle RCM.
• Hands-on with the eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR.
• Active HIPAA certification with knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-10 and CPT.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for reporting.
• Excellent spoken and written English with professional phone etiquette.
• Full-time availability with a reliable remote setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Revenue Cycle Management across patient and insurance workflows with emphasis on front-end operations.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; explain deductibles, HSA, and FSA to patients.
• Handle patient interactions and outbound calls to carriers professionally.
• Oversee denials management and address claims before timely filing limits.
• Review claims, verify balances, and generate patient statements in eCW.
• Build and maintain billing reports using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Participate in weekly meetings with practice leadership to review billing performance.
