Job summary
Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking a Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) Engineer to support a multinational SATCOM program. The RAM engineer will perform RAM predictions, FMECA, LORA, and readiness reporting for deployable terminals in a remote work setup aligned with registered locations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years in Reliability/ Maintainability/ Systems Engineering.
- Experience with defense/aerospace/SATCOM programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop reliability programs for SATCOM systems across design, production, deployment and sustainment.
- Perform RAM predictions and analyses using MIL-HDBK-338B, MIL-STD-756, IEC 61078, and related standards.
- Analyze hardware, firmware and software reliability to the LRU level.
- Create and maintain Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) and MTTR/LORA assessments.
- Conduct FMECA per MIL-STD-1629A and IEC 60812.
- Support BIT strategies and testability assessments.
- Develop availability models and readiness assessments for sustainment planning.
- Perform O&M Task Analyses and define maintenance requirements.
- Execute Level of Repair Analyses to optimize maintenance strategies.
- Contribute to IPS, ISSP, PSDP, and IPL documentation and reviews.
- Present RAM results to customers and program leadership.
