Job summary
Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking a Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) Engineer for a remote role open to candidates in eligible US locations. The RAM Engineer will develop and validate system reliability, maintainability, and availability models for a multinational SATCOM program, collaborating with Systems Engineering, IPSP, Logistics, and QA teams.
Key responsibilities include RAMT analyses, FMECA, LORA, RBDs, O&M analyses, and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (reliability, systems, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, industrial).
- 8+ years in Reliability/Maintainability/Supportability or Systems engineering.
- Experience with defense/aerospace/SATCOM or military systems.
- Ability to perform RAMT, FMECA, LORA, reliability predictions and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RAM programs for SATCOM systems across life cycles.
- Perform RAM analyses, MTTR/MTBF, LORA, and maintenance analyses.
- Create and review Reliability Block Diagrams and availability models.
- Prepare customer-facing technical reports and lifecycle documentation.
- Support IPSP/ISSP/PSDP packaging and technical reviews.
