Job summary
Fairwinds Technologies, LLC is seeking a Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) Engineer to support a multinational SATCOM program delivering deployable multi-band terminals. The RAM Engineer will develop, analyze, validate, and maintain RAM models across the lifecycle, coordinating with Systems Engineering, IPS, Logistics, QA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
Requires an active Secret clearance and US work eligibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in Reliability/ Maintainability/ Supportability or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in defense/aerospace/SATCOM programs.
- Proven ability to develop customer-facing technical reports and lifecycle documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RAM programs across design, production, deployment, and sustainment.
- Perform RAM predictions and analyses per MIL and IEC standards.
- Analyze hardware, firmware, and software reliability to the LRU level.
- Develop and maintain RAM diagrams (RBDs) and readiness assessments.
- Lead DRACAS activities and support IPS/ISSP documentation.
- Present RAM analyses to customers and program leadership.
