Job summary

Malarkey Roofing Products is seeking a Project Manager, Research and Development to drive new products and improvements through our Innovation System. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage Stage Gate deliverables, and ensure on-time execution aligned with growth goals.

The role requires 5+ years of project leadership in manufacturing, PMP or Lean Six Sigma training, and strong communication skills. Remote/hybrid options offered with emphasis on safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams through structured projects and Stage Gate.
• Ability to develop scope, deliverables, metrics and make recommendations for leadership decisions.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills; strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through Stage Gate from Business Case to Commercialization.
• Prepare and edit Stage Gate documentation and SOPs.
• Define project scope, deliverables and metrics for each phase.
• Coordinate with internal/external partners on objectives, timelines and resources.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and report updates to senior management.
