Public Trust – Level 4 clearance is required. The ideal candidate has 10+ years IT experience with quantum computing and cryptography, plus proficiency in Python, C++, and Java, and experience with PQC standards and NIST guidance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5 years in quantum computing and cryptography at large org or government agency.
• Expertise in quantum mechanics, algorithms, and information theory.
• Experience with PQC and standards (NIST, ISO/IEC 19790).
• Ability to lead or work in project-oriented environments within large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Implement and test cryptographic algorithms using Python, C++, and Java.
• Advise on PQC migration plans and implementation strategies.
• Assess cryptographic inventory and migration priorities.
• Communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership.
• Provide policy inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards.
