Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in quantum computing/cryptography at a large org or government agency.
• Master's degree in a related IT field may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Security clearance: Public Trust — Level 4.
• Experience with NIST PQC standards and post-quantum cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Python, C++, and Java to implement cryptographic algorithms.
• Work with and advise on quantum resistant algorithm migration plans and PQC strategies.
• Assess cryptographic inventory and identify migration priorities.
• Communicate quantum risk to non-technical leadership.
• Provide policy inputs for cryptographic modernization aligned with NIST PQC standards.
