Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead quality improvement efforts and support POSC initiatives. You will analyze workflows, measure performance, and drive evidence-based interventions to improve care quality and patient experience.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clinicians and stakeholders, adherence to regulatory standards, and ongoing education on HEDIS and CAHPS. A BSN is required, with a Master’s preferred, and 40 hours weekly in a remote-capable position.

Qualifications

• In depth knowledge of managed care quality, HEDIS and STARs measures.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytic skills.
• Working knowledge of quantitative/qualitative data analytics.
• Working knowledge of clinical and practice requirements for patient care.
• Ability to deal tactfully with customers and community.
• Ability to manage sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
• Ability to consider costs and benefits to choose the best action.
• Ability to function in clinical settings with diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements quality improvement programs and initiatives to monitor and improve healthcare services and processes.
• Drives evidence-based performance improvement interventions and tracks measures for POSC forums and councils.
• Manages and coordinates workplans for POSC workgroups and facilitates committees as needed.
• Contributes to improving healthcare services and patient outcomes while meeting regulatory standards.
• Contributes to policies and guidelines focusing on system performance and addressing health disparities.
• Stays updated on healthcare innovations and participates in research to improve outcomes.
• Provides training to healthcare professionals on HEDIS and CAHPS related performance.
• Collaborates with POSC stakeholders to establish and evaluate best practice interventions.
