Job summary

ICW Group seeks a Quality Engineer II to lead test strategy and quality outcomes for the delivery team, owning the test plans and automation across UI/API. You will drive shift-left, build automated suites, and coordinate with CI/CD pipelines and data validation.

Strong debugging, collaboration, and mentoring skills are essential in this role. The position emphasizes ownership of test data, API validation, and quality governance within an Insurance domain context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years QE or software testing.
• 2+ years in test automation and leading quality efforts.
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation in teams.

Responsibilities

• Own testing strategy and plan for releases; define scope and coverage.
• Lead QE discussions in grooming and sprint planning; set objectives.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, scripts for functional/regression/API/UI.
• Build and extend automated test suites with Playwright and API tools.
• Execute API tests, validate payloads, errors, and contracts.
• Contribute automated tests to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Validate data across ETL pipelines and end-to-end reconciliation.
• Coordinate quality activities with distributed teams and vendors.
• Coach junior team members and provide QA training.
