Job summary

ICW Group is seeking a Quality Engineer II to lead test strategy and quality outcomes for an assigned delivery team. You will own the test plan, coordinate QA activities, and drive shift-left practices while building automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. The role emphasizes data integrity, API and UI testing, and leveraging AI tools for test generation and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in quality engineering or software testing with 2+ years in test automation.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JS/TS).
• Experience designing test strategies and end-to-end test planning.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy and planning for the assigned projects.
• Lead quality discussions in grooming, sprint planning, and design reviews.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for UI, API, and data testing.
• Build and extend automated test suites with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or REST Assured.
• Contribute automated tests to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Coordinate quality tasks with distributed teams and mentor juniors.
