Job summary

WCIRB seeks a Quality Engineer to design and implement automated testing strategies for our insurance tech platforms. You will work with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium and API testing to ensure reliability and performance.

Hybrid role based in California with about 40% time at the Oakland home office; 5+ years in software QA and strong .NET/C#, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD experience are required. Collaborate with product teams, document defects, and continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test solutions using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tests, resolve defects, and validate changes
• Analyze non-functional requirements including load, performance, and security
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain test reports
