Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit participant expenses and ensure WIOA compliance across multiple grants. This 100% remote, full-time position reports to the Project Director and supports timely submission reviews and financial controls.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or higher with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and excellent teamwork and communication abilities. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of WIOA contracts/programs preferred.
• Strong computer skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure expense submissions from various Career Advisors are in compliance with Federal WIOA, local, State, and corporate policies.
• Manage funds from grants to ensure records are maintained to keep the grant in budget with no disallowed costs.
• Provide financial compliance guidance and participant reporting on assigned projects.
• Ensure participant expenditures are entered and processed timely under WIOA guidelines.
• Support monthly project invoices and related quality reviews.
• Complete written forms and reports accurately and on time.
• Assist with audits and program audits as required.
• Provide administrative support to teams and programs.
• Contribute to growth and program development.
