Job summary

Zippy, a Dallas, TX–based lender focused on manufactured home loans, is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance. This remote‑first role leads pre‑close and post‑close QA across the loan lifecycle, coaching analysts and ensuring findings align with policy, regulatory, and investor requirements.

The ideal candidate will drive calibration, maintain strong quality controls, and collaborate with Origination, Underwriting, and Compliance to reduce risk and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates must lead QA teams across pre‑close and post‑close reviews.
• Experience translating QA findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end loan origination processes.
• Ability to manage performance and capacity of QA staff.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a QA team responsible for pre‑close and post‑close loan reviews.
• Manage performance, calibration, and development plans for QA analysts.
• Oversee timely, well‑documented QA findings with clear evidence and policy alignment.
• Escalate material or systemic risks and track corrective actions.
• Foster cross‑functional partnerships with Origination, Underwriting, Operations, and Compliance.
• Translate QA data into actionable insights for managers and leadership.
