Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to support automated testing and test documentation on the BASIS program. The role is remote and involves working under senior QA engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery for government-related initiatives.

You will design, implement, and run automated tests, participate in the full testing lifecycle, and contribute to TDD and DevSecOps practices with a focus on reliable, repeatable test results in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software QA.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience writing automated tests in at least one framework.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps.
• Basic defect tracking with JIRA.
• Understanding of the software testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Support test documentation, defect tracking, and quality metrics.
• Contribute to DevSecOps pipeline within Government programs.
• Assist in accessibility and performance testing as required.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies.
