Job summary

System One is seeking a Software QA / Test Automation Engineer (Mid/Senior) for remote work within CST or EST zones. Two contract roles, 1 year, W-2, with security clearance requirements (FAA end client) and strong emphasis on automated testing in cloud environments (AWS ECS/EKS/OpenShift).

The team will design and maintain automation frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and perform security/compliance testing, with experience in Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, and API testing.

Qualifications

• Involved in test planning, writing test cases, developing test scripts and automation.
• Define and track QA metrics: defects, test results and status; document defects in tracker.
• Work with developers to ensure quality across SDLC and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA standards.
• Implement automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers and DevSecOps to resolve defects and improve coverage.
