Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Engineer/SDET to support testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end domains in a remote contract role. You will develop automated test scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines and lead AI-driven test-script generation for cloud-native Java services.

Collaboration with Agile teams and focus on security validation are key. Ideal candidates bring Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, REST testing, and Kubernetes experience, plus AWS and Linux proficiency for cloud and lab

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable QA systems and standards.
• CI/CD-integrated automated testing and pipelines.
• AI-assisted testing for generation, debugging and analysis.
• Hands-on with Playwright, JUnit/TestNG, REST testing, and performance testing.
• Security and compliance validation in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform software testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security domains.
• Develop test plans and create automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead AI-driven test-script generation and maintenance using modern AI tooling.
• Debug software issues, analyze failures, and determine root causes.
• Execute feature testing for cloud-native Java services on ECS, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Validate environments across Dev, Test, and Ops and manage lab setups.
• Integrate security and compliance testing, including SAST, DAST, and control validation.
• Collaborate with developers within Agile teams.
• Support continuous monitoring and evidence generation for ATO.
