Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Maryland. You will design, implement, and execute test plans for new features, fixes, and integrations, while validating customer scenarios and release validation.

You will document defects, collaborate with developers and product owners, and communicate clear release notes and feature demonstrations for customers and internal stakeholders. AI-assisted tools may be used to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating defects clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to produce defect reports, release notes, and customer-facing docs.
• Ability to work with developers, product owners, support staff and other stakeholders to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and enhancement requests with stakeholders.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers, peers, and internal stakeholders.
• Use approved AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, documentation, and release readiness practices.
