Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to create and execute test plans, validate features, and ensure release readiness across customer scenarios. You will document defects and collaborate with developers, product owners, and support staff to deliver reliable software.

The role emphasizes clear communication, testing across Windows environments, and using AI-assisted tools to enhance planning, analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience testing software applications, creating and executing test cases, validating results, and documenting defects clearly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including defect reports and release notes.
• Ability to collaborate with developers, product owners, support staff, and other stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows OS environments.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data entry, analysis, documentation, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features, bug fixes, integrations, customer scenarios, and release validation.
• Document, investigate, reproduce, track, and validate defects and enhancement requests with developers and product teams.
• Communicate release changes through clear release notes and demonstrations of new features for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted tools to support test planning, defect analysis, documentation, and release note drafting.
• Contribute to QA process improvements, testing standards, and release readiness practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
